My advert of the years has to the “the Best” by Apple. It snuck in there on December the third (Worldwide Day of Individuals with Disabilities) and gave us an enormous dollop of excellence. The product is in it all through and appears spectacular, the path is nice and the music sensible. My one criticism can be the narrative of describing individuals with incapacity because the “best” feels at odds with the normalisation of incapacity however by means of the casting and path they nail it.
I feel the work I’m most happy with from adamandeve must be the stupidity of Twix, the poignancy of John Lewis and the strategically easy, powerfully inventive work for Calm “Final Picture”. It stops you, it makes you assume and that’s what we’re right here to do.
