Google Search appears to be testing a brand new “trending subjects” part for some information queries in Google Search on cellular. This Trending Subjects part helps you to toggle and refine your question by subjects, similar to climate, crime, sports activities, politics, or different trending information classes for that question.
This was noticed by Saad AK on Twitter who shared a video of this in motion, here’s a display seize adopted by the video:

I noticed a “Trending Subjects” part in Information Tab with a filter navigation; which included a number of entities associated to the search question.

I personally can not replicate this but, nevertheless it does make sense as a further question refinement possibility and could be helpful to searchers.
